Work includes participation in weekly programming and marketing team meetings, daily contact with programming staff, research, financial analysis and recommendation of artists and bookings, oversight of multiple programming partnerships, facilitation and planning of larger projects and initiatives, development and facilitation of all offers and bookings and contract negotiations for five performing arts venues.

Contracted to provide ongoing programming support to supplement the venue’s in-house Broadway series and tenant activities. Work includes research, financial analysis, and recommendation of programming and bookings as well as facilitation of all offers and contract negotiations for 8-12 bookings per year.

Contracted as ‘Professional Development Liaison’ to provide planning and implementation support for the professional development sessions offered during the annual Midwest Arts Conference. Work includes facilitation of professional development committee meetings, support in the development of session structures, goals and curriculum, and support identifying and securing session leaders and logistics.
Film Streams, Omaha, NE
Contracted to research, evaluate and facilitate the expansion of Film Streams's educational daytime screenings for students. Work includes analysis of internal systems and support related to educational screenings, interviews and survey of key leaders and individuals in the Omaha area education systems, and development of procedural revisions including those for guided discussions, marketing and communication with schools and educators, and internal systems for tracking participation data.
KANEKO, Omaha, NE
Six-month contract providing programming planning and support to Executive Director during extended search for the full time Director of Programming. KANEKO is contemporary center focused on mixed disciplinary programs featuring exhibitions, performances, forums, and commissions. Work included facilitation of board/advisory committee planning process, project and artist research as well as logistic support.
Overture Center for the Performing Arts, Madison, WI
Six-month contract providing support to the programming division while organization’s VP of Programming oversaw re-structuring of the organization’s Marketing Department. Overture Center is a performing arts presenter with multiple venues. Work included researching, planning, budgeting and contracting performances for the 2013-2014 season.
Sandusky State Theatre, Sandusky Ohio
Contracted to analyze the programming history, current resources/environment and opportunities for the organization’s future programming. Work included site visit, review of past strategic plans, institutional finances/reports as well as past and current programming. In addition an extensive community-wide survey was implemented addressing a wide range of topics related to programming, marketing and community perceptions. Information from site visit, materials, and survey results were presented in a comprehensive report to the organization’s staff and board leadership. The report included detailed recommendations addressing future programming decisions, booking and marketing timelines, adjustments to marketing strategies and development/prioritization of community partnerships and initiatives.
Fremont Opera House Foundation, Fremont, NE
Contracted analyze current organizational resources and make recommendations for a new non-traditional performing arts series that would help raise awareness for organization’s ongoing efforts to raise money for the restoration of their 19th century opera house. Work included assisting organization in securing artists for the organization’s first season that included performances in lobby spaces, community spaces, and borrowed auditoriums. Support continues on an as needed basis.
Ice Hot: Nordic Dance Festival
Hosted by representatives of the five countries participating in the Biannual Ice Hot Dance Festival. Work included touring venues and meeting with artists and companies in Finland, Norway, Iceland, Denmark, and Sweden as well as participation in planning/facilitation of activities to broaden awareness of Nordic dance to US Presenters.
Lakota Sioux Dance Theatre
Provided ‘emergency’ interim management and tour support for 2014 activities following the unexpected death of the organization’s only artistic and administrative leader. Work included preparing company for the 2014 tour, contracting and overseeing artists and production as well as tour and production management.
