Who We Are
Joi Brown is the Founder and Director of 4Site Programming, which is based in Kensington, MD. With a formal education in both dance and theater, Joi has programmed and supervised performances for over 25 years. Prior to founding 4Site, Joi worked in the presenting field as Vice President of Programming and Education for Omaha Performing Arts, the General Manager and Director of Programming for Weidner Center for the Performing Arts, the Executive Director for the Oshkosh Grand Opera House, and programmer for the John Michael Kohler Arts Center. Her broad interest in the industry is reflected in her current and evolving client roster. In addition to supporting the work of well-established performing arts centers, she also enjoys working with less established venues identifying new and sustainable programming models for their community.
Monica Smith is a Talent Buyer with 4Site Programming supporting the booking process with research, offer preparation, client communiation and adminstrative support. With a masters degree in Sport Administration and Event Management, Monica's work with 4Site combines her life long family history in the arts with her own passion for planning, organization and logistics. Prior to joining 4Site, Monica was a Head Volleyball Coach for a Division lll school in central Pennsylvania, a graduate assistant for Lock Haven University Student Rec Center, Athletic department intern, and volleyball camp coordinatior/coach.
